Welcome Bryan Fletcher

Welcome Bryan Fletcher

Welcome Bryan Fletcher! Bryan joins the staff team at Central in October 2019, as Director of Family Ministries (parental-leave).

Bryan was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. He attended the University of Redlands in southern California where he studied Christian theology. Following university, Bryan remained in California serving at a church that ministered to the inner-city poor and those battling drug and alcohol addictions. After several years, Bryan moved back home to Hawaii and took up a position at a church serving as lay pastor and director of Christian education. In 2006, Bryan moved to Canada to attend seminary at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. There he earned a Master’s degree in Christian studies and also met Josephine who came from Singapore to study at Regent College. Bryan and Josephine moved to Hamilton in 2013 and started attending Central in the summer of 2014. Bryan is currently studying at McMaster Divinity College. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Christian theology with an emphasis in New Testament studies. Bryan and Josephine keep busy raising their four young daughters, Layna (7), Lianne (7), Laurel (2), and Leslie (5 months). In his free time (when he can find some), Bryan enjoys bicycling, swimming, camping with his family, going to the beach, and eating ice cream.
