Michael Lovaglio, Coordinator of Discipleship

Michael Lovaglio serves as Central’s Coordinator of Discipleship, where he works to cultivate spaces for learning, reflection, service and spiritual growth across the life of the congregation. His work focuses on helping people connect faith with everyday life through thoughtful study, meaningful conversation, and practices that deepen discipleship. Michael brings a background in theology, education, and community engagement, along with a passion for asking good questions and sharing good stories.

At Central, he supports education opportunities for all ages, coordinates learning initiatives, and collaborates with church leaders to nurture a culture of curiosity, hospitality, and lifelong faith formation. He’ll say yes to almost any new idea.

Michael enjoys reading widely, watching voraciously (at the cineplex), exploring ideas, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Rev. Hannah Lovaglio, have two young sons who keep life joyful, lively, and full.
