Rev. Hannah Lovaglio (the g is silent) serves as Minister of Central Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario. She is passionate about preaching that connects Sunday worship to everyday life—what she calls the honest, hopeful work of faith “between Sundays.” Her ministry emphasizes meaningful worship, intergenerational community, and collaborative engagement in justice and compassion.
Hannah is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where she earned her Master of Divinity with a focus on theology, ethics, and pastoral care. She also studied at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, where her work explored themes of reconciliation and historical movements for justice, and she holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Davidson College in North Carolina.
Before coming to Central, Hannah served as Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, New Jersey, where she led the congregation through seasons of growth, visioning, and outreach. She and her husband, Michael, are parents to two energetic boys and are delighted to be settling in Hamilton and learning the stories and history of this new community and denomination.
