Our world today is full of noise, busyness and distractions. We’re bombarded with messages telling us how to look, how to spend our time and money, how to think and who to be.
At Central Presbyterian Church we want to slow down and take time to be reminded of the sacred elements of life, to recognize that each of us is made in God’s image and to seek out our place in God’s story. We seek to establish sacred and contemplative patterns that allow us to recognize how God is present in our lives and how the Spirit is leading us.

November 12 – Pits. Genesis 37:12-28. Remembrance Sunday. With a special observance for those who served and do serve.

November 19 – Dreams. Genesis 41:1-8, 28-36. Special guest preacher – The Rev. Dr. Stephen Farris, the past dean of St. Andrew’s Hall, Vancouver.

November 26 – Intentions. Genesis 50:15-21. With the dedication of new grandchild within the congregation.

December 3 – Holy Communion and Joining Sunday
